The Memorial is an impressive building based on Neo classical architecture and the sculpture of Lincoln is fantastic, The murals and inscription on the walls inside are also very impressive. There is some construction taking place outside of the memorial so this sails the exterior views of the front of the structure.
There are also great views of the National Mall, Monument and Capitol Building from the Memorial. It can become very busy at peak times so visit early as I did.Written April 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As it ws free to enter, not time slots and Spring Break, it was organised chaos when you were inside. I didn't see as much as I wanted to due the vast amount of visitors, a shame really.
