Ann D. Sayers 1932-2024

She was born Jan. 8, 1932, in Warren, the daughter of the late Nicholas and the late Sophie Vencel Duchnak.

Ann attended Warren G. Harding High School and was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church. She was employed as a coil inspector at GE for 25 years.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing games, painting on her iPad and luncheons with the girls from GE. But most of all, she loved spending time with all of her grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her children, Gloria Gower, Donna (Ronald) Perkins and Joseph Sayers, all of Warren, Desiree (Scott) Sorber of North Ridgeville and Michele (Michael) Kurtzman of Warren; son-in-law, Stanley Petrick; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, with two on-the-way.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Sayers; daughter, Terrilyn Petrick; stepson, James Sayers; son-in-law, Hayward “Bud” Gower; three brothers; three sisters; and two grandsons.

In keeping with Ann’s wishes, no services will be held.

Interment will be in Meadow Brook Memorial Park, Warren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
