Face it: Women who are way outta your league just can’t get enough of Pete Davidson’s infamous “big d – – k energy.” The “Saturday Night Live” star, now rumored to be romancing Kim Kardashian, has — somehow — become Hollywood’s hottest heartthrob since legendary ladies’ man Warren Beatty.
At just 27, the charismatic comedian already boasts a long list of A-list lovers — including pop superstar Ariana Grande, ageless actress Kate Beckinsale, “Bridgerton” breakout Phoebe Dynevor and supermodel Kaia Gerber. Now, he’s breaking the internet with an assist from that web feat’s pioneer: the most eligible 41-year-old bachelorette in Tinseltown.
But even before Kardashian had a “secret” pizza date with him on his native Staten Island, Davidson’s prolific love life proved he’s well on his way to becoming his generation’s Beatty — the 84-year-old Oscar winner who, in his 1960s through ’90s heyday, purportedly laid a whopping “2,775 women, give or take, a figure that does not include daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on,” according to Peter Biskind, 81, author of “Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America.”
Unlike the legendary “Shampoo” sex god, who possesses a matinee idol smile and bedroom blue eyes, Davidson is not what most would consider conventionally attractive, as the lanky loverboy — who only recently moved out of his ma’s basement — is perennially pale, covered in hundreds of “manic” tattoos (that he’s currently “burning off”) and even declares himself a “red flag.”
The fact that Davidson has scored so many stunning women is mystifying many men who are under the impression they need a chiseled chest and a designer wardrobe in order to attract the woman of their dreams.
But dating coach Cher Gopman — a former psychiatric nurse who now runs NYC Wingwoman, a postmodern matchmaker operation — told The Post guys don’t have to look like Beatty to bed a beauty.
Listen up, fellas: Davidson’s appeal, she says, boils down to the fact he’s unapologetically himself — and that’s likely what has made the former Mrs. Kanye West, another man who lives by his own rules, so “intrigued” of late.
“He’s been famous for years now — and he hasn’t changed for anybody. Women love a man who’s confident in himself,” Gopman, 30, told The Post. “When a man is sure of himself, it makes us sure of him.”

Rumors of a Davidson-Kardashian romance began after the reality TV superstar and beauty-shapewear mogul hosted “SNL” early last month. The pair even locked lips during an on-screen comedy skit in which they played Aladdin and Jasmine from the Disney films.
Last week, the unlikely duo met up again, seen holding hands on a roller coaster at Knott’s “Scary” Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. While Kardashian was styled to the nines on the outing, Davidson was dressed down in baggy pants and a loose-fitting top and sported a messy bedhead.
But, it turns out, it really might be what’s on the inside that counts. Like Gopman, Amanda Eden, 28, who works in TV marketing, says she “would die” for Davidson, noting it’s the “King of Staten Island” sex symbol’s confidence that is so appealing.
“He’s genuinely himself. He doesn’t care about what anyone thinks about his looks or his personality, and that’s not the case for most men in New York City,” Eden gushed to The Post, showing off a framed photo of the funnyman that hangs in her Upper East Side apartment.
While females from Beatty’s generation may have lusted after a more ripped and rugged type of star, modern women are fawning over famous men who are turning typical ideas of masculinity on their heads — from dress-wearing Harry Styles to “twinky” Timothée Chalamet.
As Gopman explains: “Pete Davidson is not doing all the things to be a typical Hollywood man. In fact, he’s kind of changing the way Hollywood is looking at what women find attractive.”
“There’s a reason women are so attracted to men like Pete, Harry and Timothée,” Eden elaborated. “You see them being quirky and funny and laughing at themselves whenever a video goes viral. They don’t hide their personalities. They showcase it and that shows what kind of people they really are.”
The internet is so enamored by Davidson’s underdog status as a heartthrob that he’s now the subject of viral tweets. One hilarious post quipped that Queen Elizabeth would be the next unlikely lucky lady to be romancing the “SNL” stud.
But while Beatty and Davidson couldn’t be more different in terms of their looks and personalities, their innate ability to attract women is strikingly similar.

The comedian has spoken candidly about struggling with grief — including an attempt to drown himself as a child — and he has also opened up about other mental health issues, including his battle with bipolar disorder and how he suffers from Crohn’s disease.
In her 2020 book of essays, “No One Asked for This,” Cazzie David praised Davidson’s “bravery” for opening up about his emotions.

Another fan — Amanda Chelsea, a 28-year-old Queens local who works in music — feels the same. “A lot of famous people are always hush-hush about their struggles or judgmental of others, so it’s pretty refreshing to see Pete so open about his. It adds to his appeal,” she told The Post.
Ariana Grande: ‘Thank u, Next’
While Beatty embarked on a “Truth or Dare” romance with Madonna, Davidson also dated one of the most famous pop stars of his generation: Ariana Grande. (Grande also name-checked him — and his privates — as an inspiration for her hit “Thank U, Next,” much like bedding Beatty partially inspired singer-songwriter Carly Simon’s 1972 classic “You’re So Vain.”)
The couple revealed they were in a “casual” relationship at the end of May 2018, directly after Davidson broke things off with Cazzie David.
Things moved quickly, with the couple getting engaged just a few weeks later. But the roller-coaster relationship fizzled out after five months and a suicide scare.

It wasn’t long before Davidson began dating another Hollywood beauty with a famous mom. In October 2019, he was spotted in Miami with Kaia Gerber, the teen (now 20-year-old) daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, 55, and tequila tycoon Rande Gerber, 59.
Perhaps Davidson is attracted to women with high-profile mothers because he is so close to his own mom, Amy. In 2016, Davidson purchased a four-bedroom house on Staten Island for his mom for $1.3 million. He then moved into the basement, in order to be close to her.
Anyway, Davidson later blamed his 2019 breakup with Gerber on his personal struggles.
“She’s very young, and I’m f – – king going through a lot and it was before I went to rehab,” he told Charlamagne Tha God. “It’s just like, she should be having fun. She shouldn’t have to worry about some dude that just has issues and s – – t. She should be enjoying her work.”
Still, the fact the funnyman is a mama’s boy is a plus in the eyes of his female fans.
“I think knowing what their family went through so many years ago [with the death of Davidson’s dad] really strengthened their relationship, and the love that he has for her is so evident,” Eden told The Post.
“It shows how he treats girls because most guys who are good to their moms are good to girls,” Chelsea added.
Kim Kardashian: No butt lift for him!
Davidson’s rumored romance with a Kardashian is now igniting the national zeitgeist.
The pair were seen in California last week, before Kim K. jetted into New York on Monday, fueling rumors of a raunchy rendezvous with Davidson, who now lives in a luxury high-rise on Staten Island.
The Post has reached out to both the Davidson and Kardashian camps for confirmation — or denial — of their rumored romance but has yet to hear back.
However, Kardashian is one of the most famous women in the world, so if the romance heats up, Davidson could relocate to California where the reality star resides with her four kids in her $23 million marital home she scored from West, 44, amid their ongoing divorce.
But don’t expect Davidson to get a Brazilian butt lift and pump Botox if he decamps to Calabasas.
Dating coach Gopman insists Davidson will still be the same simple guy from Staten Island — which is why women will continue to love him.
“He’s not trying to bulk up or get plastic surgery or wear better clothes,” she told The Post. “He’s so confident in himself, and that’s what’s attractive.”
And should the romance with Kardashian not come to fruition, there are plenty of civilian ladies drooling over the comedy kid.
“I want a man who’s confident, gets along with his mom, and can make me laugh,” Eden told The Post. “I’m really just looking for Pete Davidson.”
