To all of our Friends and Family:

Thank you all for your thoughts and payers. It is hard to say goodbye to someone who meant so much to all of us. Reading these messages give us great comfort in knowing how he was cared for and the impact he has made with his life. Please also know how important you were all to him. He was very proud of all the roads and bridges but he was most happy when helping somebody.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Barbera. I have known your family for over 40 years and have so many fun memories. I will always remember how warm and welcoming Mr. Barbera always was to me and my children. He was such a kind man and will be missed by everyone. I hope your many happy memories comfort all of you. I remember Vince when I worked as an inspector on one of the NYS Thruway projects back in the mid 80's. I have many fond memories of Vince and Oakgrove from those early years of my career.

Working for your Dad at times he was tough to work for, but fair. He had his own way of letting us know if we were right or wrong. God graces are with you all and we will alway remember Vince Sr.
