The Russian jewelry House Fabergé was founded by Gustav Fabergé (1814-1893). His son, Peter Carl Fabergé (1846-1920) is the famous Russian jeweler who created the famous Fabergé Eggs (Easter eggs were made as gifts for the Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II’s wives and mothers). He is considered as the jeweler of the Russian Tsars (Alexander III and Nicholas II. The Fabergé house closed in 1917, during the Russian revolution.
In 2007, the Fabergé House revived, 90 years after its disappearance in 1917. The name of Fabergé is redeemed under the blessing of Tatiana Fabergé (Great grand-daughter of Peter Carl Fabergé). The French jeweler Frédéric Zaavy is in charge of the creation. The brand innovates (watches, new designs…) but also perpetuates the art of Peter Carl Fabergé (Imperial collection, Easter eggs under different forms).

She was a the daughter of the Princess Alice of the United Kingdom and of Louis IV, the Grand Duke of Hesse-Darmstadt.
She was the granddaughter of the Queen Victoria of Great Britain and Empress of India.
She became Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna when she married the Tsar Nicholas II. Among her children, there was Anastasia. Unpopular at the court, the Tsarina Alexandra became loyal to Grigory Rasputin after he “healed” her son Alexei. She believed he was sent by God to save the Russian crown. She was the last Tsarina and had a tragic end (The Tsar Nicholas II, the Tsarina Alexandra and their children were killed in 1918 by the bolcheviks, under the orders of Lenine).
Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna had a spectacular collection of jewels namely Fabergé Eggs and tiaras, broochs, necklaces… She possessed jewels and jeweled objects created by famous jewelry Houses such as Peter Carl Fabergé (clocks, Eggs, brooches, frames…) and Cartier.
