The Venom Fruit is a Mythical Natural-type Blox Fruit, that costs MoneyIcon 3,000,000 or RobuxIcon 2,450 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

This Blox Fruit is considered as one of the most powerful and potent fruits in the game due to its passive abilities, overall damage, ease of use, and its versatility when it comes to farming or PvP due to its transformation which when activated, deals high damage to all enemies in the user's range. Although it has high mastery requirements, with 300 mastery being required to unlock the transformation, this fruit can be used to grind in the First Sea due to its [F] move, which is amazing for grinding.

Abilities[]

Name Description
Fury Meter
The user starts off with 50% of their "Fury Meter" bar filled upon spawning. Your fury meter needs to be full to be able to transform. Fury is regained over time and drains while you are transformed. Using moves while transformed also decreases your fury meter by various amounts. When transformed, gains a 50% defense buff with enhanced attacks.
Deadly Venom
Every NPC or player within the radius of certain attacks of Venom (X, C, and F explosion) will be inflicted with a poisonous miasma, which deals a hefty amount of damage. If caused by attack [X] or [C] (Transformed), the enemy's screen will turn dark purple and wobble.
Puddles of Poison
The user can make poisonous puddles by certain attacks (Z, X and Transformed C). Upon standing on it, the puddles deals damage to enemies, but they won't be affected by miasma and will not be damaged if they walk out from the Puddles.
Venom Drop
While transformed, Air Jumping two or more times or going up to a good height and then falling to the ground will cause a small explosion and leaves poison puddles. It is worthy to note that the longer you fall does not affect the spread of the puddles.
Persistent Lava
When transformed, the user is "immune" to all environment lava puddles, such as those found in Raids or on the island Hot and Cold. However, you are not immune to the lava at all, when you touch the lava with your body center it will cause damage. Note that this does not provide resistance to the moves of the Magma Fruit.

VenomZ
The user fires a barrage of poisonous blades similar to Dragon C and Light X and launches them at the enemy with all landing simultaneously on the target. This leaves a puddle of Venom Miasma on the ground. Holding Z will make you fire more blades.

VenomX
The user gathers a large poison ball around their hands. After releasing the key, the user launches 3 bolts of venom at the same time, dealing damage and leaving 1 puddle that splits into 3 more puddles. People that get hit by this move will have their vision distorted for a short while (NOTE : This ability has aim-assist/autoaim)

VenomC
The user produces a deadly smoke, surrounding them completely until its duration ends. The smoke will continually deals damage to the opponent (5-6 ticks) if they stay within the proximity of the Venom user. Interestingly, once the opponent is damaged by only one tick of this move, or damaged until the smoke ends, they will still take poison damage, meaning that this move inflicts EXTRA poison damage (3-4 ticks), which is pretty much similar the X move.

VenomV
The user gathers a large amount of venom and then transforms into a Three-Headed Dragon. While transformed, Venom users take the form of a giant three-headed draconic monster, resembling a hydra. This move tremendously boosts damage for all of its attacks in the moveset, and massively increases poison damage (puddle). This move grants the user 50% defense against all attacks, and is immune to basic LMB attacks from NPCs (note that players could still hit you with M1s). Transforming will drastically change your appearance. However, during transformed form you cannot use any other moves and attacks besides Venom's.

VenomF
The user surrounds themselves with venom that resembles a long serpent before beginning to fly. Your movement speed is quite slow in this form, but your speed increases as your health gets lower. Anyone that goes through the serpent will take continual poison damage. When the user stops holding F, it creates a small purple explosion, dealing AoE damage. Last for 40 seconds.

The user breathes out a massive cloud of venomous gas that surrounds the player and deals massive damage to anyone in its radius, Players who are taking damage and inside the fog, can't use their Air Jumps and dodge/dash till they go out or the fog dissipates. Each cycle deals 3 ticks of damage, you can do 2 cycles with this skill. Once enemies take 1 tick of poison, they will take the next 2 ticks.

VenomTransF
The user surrounds themselves with venom that resembles a long serpent before taking to the sky. This time, the serpent is much larger, and moves much faster based on how much damage you've taken in total. 3 smaller dragon heads spin around the serpent. Once the user hits a target or stops pressing F, the serpent explodes, dealing damage and leaving a poison puddle if near the ground. The 3 heads will also be released, homing in on any nearby targets and dealing more damage. Unlike the untransformed version of this move, moving into the enemy while using this move does not affect them with the poisonous effect. Note: Only 1 target per head, if there’s only one target near you, one head will target it, and the other 2 will despawn after they hit the ground. The homing heads will last for 10 seconds.

The following results are tested on NPCs. The variables that were used to test include: 600 mastery, 2550 points on Fruit Stats and no accessories. Include tick damage.

Overview[]

Pros (Untransformed)
General
  • All moves Breaks Instinct. (Excluding [V])
  • Very versatile, fits/pairs almost every playstyle/weapons, and counters most fruits.
  • Extremely good for close-range battles in an enclosed space (just like in the source material) even compared to other fruits, as two of its moves work best in close proximity, and the poisonous puddles that deal damage over time are extremely powerful.
  • Works good on both air and ground combats.
  • Puddles of Poison passive can drain Instinct dodges, making the Instinct of your enemy nearly useless against Venom.
  • Venom puddles stay on the ground for 10 seconds, giving enough time for the user's cooldowns to regenerate while keeping the enemy at bay.
  • Its high damage output with a lack of knockback makes it extremely useful for grinding, especially among the more expensive fruits in trading.
[Z] Poison Daggers
  • Decent Stun.
  • Decent range.
[X] Noxious Shot
  • Auto-aims to the nearest enemy. (Must be pointing in the direction where the enemy is)
  • Good hitbox.
  • Causes enemy vision to be distorted.
[C] Toxic Fog
  • Puddles of Poison passive damage ability.
[V] Transformation
  • N/A
[F] Serpent’s Wrath
  • The lower your health is, the faster the F flight speed is.
  • Strong move for grinding that is accessible to lower level players due to the low mastery (50).
  • Deadly Venom passive can last longer unlike other moves. (7 ticks of damage)

Pros (Transformed)
General
  • During Hydra form, you cannot be hit by any basic LMB attacks from NPCs.
  • Transformation includes extremely boosted attacks plus 50% defense against attacks.
  • While transformed, your sky jumps are greatly buffed. Similar to Buddha, you can jump extremely high.
  • Can walk on lava.
  • Greatly buffs the strength and AOE of attacks.
  • Attacks create much more poison puddles.
[Z] Poison Daggers
  • High DPS.
  • Slightly stun.
  • Good harass.
  • High range. (Roughly double range than Untransformed)
[X] Noxious Shot
  • High damage.
  • Slightly stun.
  • Auto aim.
  • Causes enemy vision to be distorted.
  • High range.
[C] Toxic Fog
  • Enormous AOE.
  • Extremely good for raids.
  • Causes enemy vision to be distorted.
[V] Transformation
  • N/A
[F] Serpent’s Wrath
  • Extremely useful for grinding because after the flight is used, the 3 homing heads rush towards the nearest enemies (each on a different enemy), allowing you to easily group up enemies and annihilate them.
  • Puddles of Poison passive can last longer unlike other moves. (7 ticks of damage)
  • The three homing heads can also be used to counter runners.
  • Three homing heads have extremely long range.

Cons (Untransformed)
General
  • Difficult to obtain and is expensive.
  • Requires full Fury Meter to transform.
  • Passive Puddles are useless while in the air.
  • All moves have limited range and are somewhat slow.
  • Fury meter charges passively, meaning it does not increase by dealing damage.
  • Poison effect from 3 moves do not stack, if you get X poison effect while having F or C poison effect, the new effect will cancel the old one and vice versa.
[Z] Poison Daggers
  • 1-3 blades has low damage.
  • Small hitbox.
[X] Noxious Shot
  • Bad range.
[C] Toxic Fog
  • Bad range.
  • Certain combos can prevent you from taking damage, such as Z Godhuman. Or some combos can one-shot you even with this effect.
[V] Transformation
  • N/A
[F] Serpent’s Wrath
  • Can only fly for a certain period of time.
  • Having low health giving you a boost speed isn't really that useful in some situations.

Cons (Transformed)
General
  • Speed and dash distance is nerfed in transformation state.
  • Hard to see over the body model without instinct.
  • Bigger hitbox, making attacks easier to hit on you.
[Z] Poison Daggers
  • Small hitbox.
[X] Noxious Shot
  • N/A
[C] Toxic Fog
  • The user's vision may be obscured without instinct.
  • Using Toxic Fog while transformed forces the skill to stay in one spot, allowing enemies to easily avoid it. (Although it has a big hitbox so most of the time it will hit an I-frame of 1 second)
  • Damage in PvP is unreliable.
[V] Transformation
  • N/A
[F] Serpent’s Wrath
  • Slow speed.

Venom is a great fruit for grinding in the First Sea and Second Sea, but is not as useful when you go to the Third Sea unless you have the skill and know how to use it properly while grinding in the Third Sea.

Usefulness: Even though this is an extremely hard fruit to obtain, obtaining it proves useful even early on. There are many low level players who use Venom. This might seem counter-intuitive as Venom has high mastery moves and it can be a bit difficult to unlock most of them when first starting out. However, Venom is a lot like Magma, as it passively damages the opponent with toxic puddles and tick damage. The Z and F move both accomplish this, with the Z move making the ground poisoned and thus hurting the opponent if they step on it, and the F move making the opponents poisoned if you fly near them. These moves also have a fast cooldown, so it is possible to spam these moves. The best part about these moves is how quickly you can obtain them; the Z move is given as the first move, and the F move is the flight move, so it is natural to get it early, at 50 Mastery. (you will most likely get the flight move in Pirate Village or Desert).

Grinding Technique without flight move: Find a generally small building, and get the NPCs crowded around the building. Then, once you have the NPCs gathered, use the Z move, and make sure the venom that falls to the ground is touching the building. The NPCs should walk toward you, and they take passive damage from the venom. Repeat this process until all NPCs are dead.

Grinding Technique with flight move: Get a crowd of NPCs close to you. After that, double jump (if you have Air Jump, then jump as high as you like), and then, while using the flight move, fly down to the NPCs. They cannot hurt you if you are in the flight state until you let go of the F button. They should now be poisoned but will be cured of their poison if you do not poison them again after a couple of seconds. Keep flying around them until some of them die. If you let go of the F button, the serpent that you are flying as will explode and do some more damage to the remaining NPCs. Repeat until all NPCs are dead. If you want to do more passive damage, use the Z move on the NPCs before using the mentioned method of grinding. Instead of charging straight at the enemy, you can hold the move and fly around them instead. Doing this will deal gigantic damage to the enemy and can reach up to 50k.

Trivia[]

  • Venom shares similarities with Magma, as both have abilities that create puddles that cause damage over time. Their damage stacks as well, making them extremely strong.
  • If you transform and immediately sit on a chair, the multi-headed dragon's walking, jumping and idle animation is replaced with the T-Pose that appears 1 second before the animations load in. Doing this does not drain your fury meter and jumping will make you Air Jump instead. After pressing V again, the game still believes you are sitting, and does not allow you to jump but you will be able to move. To be able to jump again, you have to reset, get killed, or leave the game. This glitch has been patched.
  • Venom transformation works similarly to the Awakened Buddha. Reduced dash and acceleration from buffs accessories.
  • Rabbit's speed stacks with Venom's transformation.
  • As of Update 17.2 Venom's passive fury drain was greatly reduced.
  • It is recommended to use Ghoul v3, Shark v2/3, or Human v3, Ghoul v3 reduces cooldown even more for venom and Shark takes no damage in water While Human buffs the damage.
  • Venom has one of the second largest AoEs in the game, which is Poison Fog when transform. (The first being Quake awakened V)
  • In toxic Fog with transformation, sometime it only does 1 cycle of poison damage. This could be a bug or something.
  • Despite Venom having a transformation, it is not a Beast fruit.
  • Venom is counter to Dough V2 as it interrupts the barrage preventing you from getting killed in one dough combo and preventing dough users from holding Dough X to increase its hitbox. Although using T-Rex would be more effective.
  • Just like Dragon and T-Rex, its fury meter needs 1 minute and 30 seconds to fully recharge.
  • The fruit's C move, when untransformed distorts opponent's screen when hit.
