French Stewart and wife Vanessa Claire Smith have welcomed a baby daughter.
The former 3rd Rock from the Sun actor confirmed to People that Smith recently gave birth to girl named Helene Claire.
"She was born six weeks early and could be held in the palm of your hand," the actor recalled.
Stewart also explained why he and Smith chose the name Helene Claire for their first child.
"We named her after my lovely mother. My sister is also a Helene," he said. "There are five wonderful Claires in Vanessa's family so the tradition of it is very special for us."
The actor is best known for portraying Harry Solomon in 3rd Rock from the Sun, and also recently appeared in Community.
