NEW CONCORD, Ohio—The Mount Union track and field opened its season at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational hosted by Muskingum on Saturday.
Makenna Rudy (Salem) won the women's shot put with a toss of 41-feet 3.75-inches while
Makayla Sitzlar (Sugarcreek / Garaway) finished third with a throw of 38-feet 5.5-inches.
Drake Willenborg (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon) won the discus with a throw of 159-feet 11-inches.
Ryan McVicker (Dover) won the shot put with a toss of 50-feet 4.25-inches.
Brady Burrey (Bellefontaine) finished second in the javelin with a toss of 179-feet 5-inches.
Jeff Joseph (Beloit / West Branch) took second in the 1,500-Meters with a 4:01.78.
Jessica Mason (Twinsburg) finished third in the pole vault with a leap of 11-feet 6.25-inches.
Mount Union next compete at the Oliver Nikoloff Meet in Cincinnati or at the Don Frail Invite in Marietta.
