Students participate in a vast array of externships and internships, a semester-long program in Washington, DC, and study abroad programs in England and Israel. The Alabama Law Library like the rest of the Law School is accessible to law students 24/7. There, students can reserve individual carrels for private study and rooms for group work. The Law School is also home to a newly renovated caf ; dedicated on-site parking for law students; and a courtyard with a covered balcony, shaded study tables, and 12.5 acres of outdoor space for study and recreation.

The Alabama Law Career Services Office has a dedicated team of career counselors. In addition to offering one-on-one career counseling, they provide frequent on campus interviews, job fairs, and professional development training to help students secure jobs in the government, public interest, and private sectors.
