Mike Tyson will once again step into the boxing ring to face YouTuber Jake Paul in one of the fights of the year with a growing sense of confidence.

The exhibition event will be broadcast on the popular streaming platform, Netflix, who are still awaiting for confirmation of the fight schedule. At the time of writing, it has been confirmed that it will be held at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.

In a recent statement, Jake Paul said the videos he has seen of Mike Tyson's training sessions have put him on alert.

When asked on his podcast 'BS With Jake Paul' after watching Tyson hit the pads, he said: "Yeah, he was running! I think it's motivational. It's good to bring fear into the ring and with you on a daily basis when you are."

"I'm excited to have my toughest, craziest, most powerful opponent to date. The challenge of moving up to heavyweight is fun, it's a benefit because I've been eating a lot of pasta. It definitely looks like s***. F***ing animal.

"I will say that people are underestimating me. When I read their comments, they say if Mike loses, then the fight is rigged."

Finally, Paul believes Tyson is gaining in confidence, before issuing the 57-year-old a warning.

"You see how good he looks in the gloves, but Mike looking good in the gloves isn't even half the battle, he has to face me in the ring," he added.

"I think he might be watching these videos and his confidence is growing."

Video of Mike Tyson running goes viral

All it took was a five-second video of Tyson running to give Paul nightmares. "I'm coming for you," read the caption on Iron Mike's video, which was posted to his social media accounts. It follows his recent comments where he said he was relishing facing Paul, 27.

"I'm looking forward to getting in the ring with Jake Paul. He has grown significantly as a fighter over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a 'kid' can do with the experience and fitness of a GOAT.

"It's a full circle moment that will be more than exciting to watch; as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now plan to finish it."
