Ultimate Epic Singles Collection is the best overview of Bobby Vinton's chart history which contains all his big hits; Roses Are Read (My Love), Mr. Lonely, Blue Velvet and Blue On Blue. All 39 of his hits between 1962 and 1975 are represented in remastered glory with the exception of tracks 3 and 4 on disc 2, taken from records. I have discovered new favourites including "I've Got That Lovin' Feelin' Back Again" and "What Color Is A Man" with it's Bob Dylan folk sound. It is about a little boy who wants to color a man in his coloring book and Bobby Vinton sings to you all the imotions he would feel according to each color he chooses to use. I found this song hallarious and it will always be one of my favourite Bobby Vinton classics. All my old favourites including "Coming Home Soldier", "Just as Much as Ever", "Tell Me Why", "There, I've Said It Again" and "The Days of Sand and Shovels" is represented on this double CD. This CD is a must have if you like easy listening music with a country flavour. This CD blows "All Time Greatest Hits" out of the water because of the remastered sound and song selection. No 60's collection is complete without at least one Bobby Vinton CD. There is a 12 page booklet included.

I have loved Bobby's music since I was a boy. Can't complain about what IS here. However, I remain deeply pained over the one song that ISN'T here. That is Bobby's excellent single, "For All We Know". I love that record, and for some reason, it remains m.i.a. on c.d. to this very day. When will the powers that be hear my plea?!!!!

If you're A Bobby Vinton fan, this is the one collection you must have. It contains every one of his 39 charted Epic hits from 1962-1973. Most times when you buy a Collection or Greatest Hits, there is always at least one important number that is not included. I rate this a 5 Star for the "Crooner of the 60s." A must have if you're a true Vinton fan!
