- Debbie SEdinburgh, UK24 contributionsA mini park with an interesting visitor’s centre and museum and lovely manicured grounds. The tour guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Most impressive was the refurbished church experience and seeing the humble first home of Elvis built by his father. All very well recreated. Highly recommendWritten April 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Linder24Ridgeley, WV223 contributionsWe were heading south, so we drove the parkway, from Nashville to Natchez. Beautiful scenic drive, with plenty of stops to check out, and NO traffic. Restroom facilities were available at several locations along the way.Written March 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ray C1 contributionWe can't thank both the Presley and Smith Families enough. They have been some with research and assistance helping figure out more about the local areas of Tupelo and Fulton. They also have been great at connecting local relatives with our family within the Green Street and North Tupelo areas.Written June 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jessica BSaint Amant, LA90 contributionsVery reasonable with prices and so much to see and look through. Not cluttered and clean. Loved learning that this is a building that Elvis's mom workedWritten January 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Don BTupelo, MS13 contributionsThis is a good place to walk the dog and watch the ducks and watch fish schooling. - jbushman2017Nipomo, CA492 contributionsMy wife and I are old but hey, how can one resist driving through an animal park and feeding animals. The expense was minimal 10$ a person and the buckets of feed were 3$ a piece. You could walk through some enclosures but we were just interested in driving the loop through the park to feed the animals.
Because the animals are well feed and familiar to visitors, many of them when they see your car coming will hustle over to you to get some feed, especially if you hold out the food bucket and give it a good shake. There are not a lot of animals but watching them peck away at the food you hold out, as you view them up close was a thrill. I especially liked the Ostrich. They were very tall and aggressively pecked away at the feed in the bucket. I appreciated that they could differentiate between my hand that was holding the bucket and the food that was in it! AS long as the animals know you have food they may well just loiter around your car. Hey, we spent about 30 minutes driving around feeding and it was fun.Written March 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There were several interesting artifacts, but the highlight of the tour was the enthusiasm of the guide who briefed us. We spent about 30 minutes at the museum which is collocated with the military museum.Written March 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - IvoryTickler88Arkansas126 contributionsWe didn’t actually use the visitor’s center, but I thought this was the best place to leave a review of the downtown area. It is a beautiful place, nice to walk around in. It’s obvious they have really worked at making this downtown area a vibrant place for shopping and dining. This is a really great town to visit!Written April 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Christy T3 contributionsWe camped at Tombigbee State Park for two nights in early August. We had site #10 which would make a good site for someone with mobility issues. It was next to the sidewalk to the bathhouse. Our "sitting" area was close to the road but few people used the road in this small campground so no problem. The sites seemed to be level throughout and were FHU. The bathhouse seemed to be in poor repair with leaking water issues but was adequate for our use. I liked that RV's were in one section and tents in another. All utilities worked as expected. Verizon/Spectrum had maybe one bar. We got about ten stations over the air. We were very shaded. Recreation was nice in this park. The playground looked wonderful. Disc golf covered the park. The hiking was nice with lots of hills and green woods!Written August 20, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - terrycarter52267 Arnold trail Pontotoc ms 3886317 contributionsWe are at the warrior trails campground which is one of three campgrounds here. The camper spots are spaced far apart so that you can walk out front and see woods. There are lots of deer and wildlife to enjoy. I have seen a bald eagle twice since I have been here. The bathrooms are very clean. There is a laundry room down the road at another campground about 1/2 mike from this one. There are miles of walking trails or all terrain vehicles or horseback. I would recommend it to anyone to get away.Written January 23, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
