      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Triple 9's pulpy potboiler thrills don't quite live up to the ferocious talents of its cast, but the film's efficient, solidly crafted genre fun is often enough to balance its troublesome flaws.

Gero C I think it is too underrated. People these days are looking for something new, but most of the movies that they love and like are the same as some other movie. This movie honestly impressed me. Moderate performances, violence, incredible casting and a more or less original but entertaining plot. Highly recommended Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Kagisho M A complete rubbish of a film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/24 Full Review Ben Chow S "Work smart and not hard" that's these scammers' slogan. They lure you with promises of luxury and lifetime riches without you doing anything besides investing in their investment schemes, and if you ever fall prey, they will siphon you of every penny dry. I fell their victim however was fortunate to be helped by the best recovery expert on Telegram: @Cybergeniehackpro Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/11/24 Full Review Richard H Shades of The Departed, if set in Atlanta. Much better than most of the reviews here suggest. Like others I didn't quite believe Kate Winslet. But the other characters were solid, and the plot and pacing kept me on the edge of my seat. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review donnie m lots of action but i came here because it's hard for me to watch any character who chews like a pig, the actor who plays Chris, non-stop chewing in this movie so 1 star off for that Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/09/23 Full Review matthias s "Triple 9" boasts a star-studded ensemble that should have made it an action classic, but alas, it falls short on several fronts. The cast is filled with A-listers, and the acting is undeniably top-notch. However, the movie's biggest problem is that it tries to juggle too many characters, leaving the audience struggling to connect the dots. The plot is as thin as a supermodel's diet plan, making it hard to follow at times. You find yourself yearning for more action scenes and heists, but they are disappointingly sparse. The lack of emotional connection with the characters makes it difficult to invest in their fates. It's like watching a well-choreographed dance without caring about the dancers. In the end, "Triple 9" feels like a missed opportunity. With its fantastic cast and potential for thrilling action, it could have been a knockout. Unfortunately, it delivers a few punches but fails to land the knockout blow. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Jordan Hoffman Times of Israel At the end of the day, stories need to be about characters, not types. While nothing that ought to inspire a letter writing campaign from the ADL,"Triple 9" fails to make it past shorthand. Feb 1, 2018 Full Review Aramide Tinubu Shadow and Act The real screen stealer in Triple 9 is Clifton Collins Jr., as the quietly diabolical, dirty detective Rodriguez. He is a reason why this film will keep you glued to your seat. Dec 5, 2023 Full Review Don Shanahan Every Movie Has a Lesson Boasting a stellar top-shelf cast of dedicated, yet mismatched parts, "Triple 9" does its best to battle treacherous flaws. Rated: 3/5 Sep 4, 2023 Full Review Grant Watson Fiction Machine Triple 9 is a good film, and an entertaining one, but it involves realising that there was a better film to be made out of its various ingredients than the film we actually got.
