Chris Farley at his near-best
Chris Farley gives his comic best in a goofy film. David Spade has his moments as well, and the pair are a great comic team. Rob Lowe gets plenty of laughs too as does an under-utilized Brian Dennehy. Put your brain on the shelf, and just enjoy the trip.

I really enjoyed watching this movie. I love Chris Farley! He was very under-rated when he was alive. He is hysterically funny in this movie. So is David Spade. I highly recommend purchasing this movie.

Your sides will hurt
This is by far his funniest movie! Not even Black Sheep can touch this film. This is straight stupid humor which I think is funny, but you must already know that if you like Chris Farley! I've watched this movie a 100 times and it never stops being funny!

My All-Time Favorite Comedy
Tommy Boy stands as the funniest movie I have ever seen. While other comedies such as Dumb and Dumber and Monty Python and the Holy Grail are right there, if faced with picking my absolute favorite comedy I would have to choose Tommy Boy. What makes this movie so great is the dynamic between Chris Farley and David Spade. Farley, in all his boisterousness and idiocy, supplies the vast majority of the film's humor as recently-graduated Tommy Callahan. However, Spade shines in his role as Richard, a nerdy accountant working at Tommy's father's auto parts factory. When Tommy's father dies, it falls upon Tommy and Richard to head out on the road in an attempt to save the factory. There are so many memorable scenes in this movie. At one of the first stores Tommy and Richard visit on their road ... Tommy Boy stands as the funniest movie I have ever seen. Later in the movie, while the two are staying the night at a motel, Tommy catches Richard checking out a girl swimming naked in the pool and then playfully questions him about it. Near the end of the movie Tommy and Richard board a plane disguised as stewards and attempt to perform the emergency procedures for the passengers. Tommy accidentally chokes himself with an inflatable plastic life jacket, one of the many hilarious scenes in the movie that brilliantly utilizes Farley's trademark physical humor. After Tommy punctures the life jacket with an old lady's pen, Richard remarks, "He's a big dumb animal isn't he, folks?" In the end, Tommy and Richard save the company against all odds and Tommy succeeds his father as president. I can't find any flaws in this movie. It's been a favorite of mine for a long time and probably will continue to be for years. I hope I never outgrow it. I bought another copy on ebay because a good friend of mine told me she had never seen it and so I'm going to send it to her.
