This could have been a bit better, a bit tighter -- but the performance of Cuba Gooding, Jr. was excellent, as were the other characters. There were a couple of moments when I thought no rational human would have done the things the Gooding character did -- that the average person would know it would make him a suspect. However, the twisty plot redeemed itself, and I actually enjoyed this movie. My favorite Cuba Gooding, Jr. film was A Murder of Crows, and this offers the same offbeat kind of storyline. So if you enjoyed that movie, you'll probably enjoy this one, as well.

CUBA GOODING JR. IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ACTORS. HE IS NOW A BUSINESSMAN AND ENTREPRENEUR AND HAS STOPPED PERFORMING. BUT, THIS IS ONE OF HIS BEST MOVIES, INCLUDING AS THE ANTAGONIST, THE GREAT NEAL MCDONAUGH. A SERIAL KILLER IS RUNNING LOOSE, AND GOODING IS A WASHED UP FAMOUS AUTHOR. HOWEVER, WHEN HIS GIRLFRIEND IS MURDERED BY THE KILLER, HE TAKES ON
THE CASE. THE PLOT IS JUST SO UNIQUE AND ALL THE ACTORS ARE REAL PROFESSIONALS, THIS MOVIE RANKS AT THE TOP OF ALL HIS
THRILLERS. THE 🎵 MUSIC IS TERRIFIC AND THERE ARE MANY TWISTS AND TURNS, ENDLESSLY. I WOULD RANK THIS AS PERHAPS CUBA’S
NEAR TOP FILM OF ALL HIS PICTURES. WHEN THE DENOUEMENT, I.E. UNRAVELING ARRIVES, THE FINALE IS BREATHTAKING.

Different strokes for different folks. Of the three reviews I have read all the reviewers were bad mouthing the movie in one way or another. I found the movie quite good and the acting excellent. The story of an investigative reporter being one step behind a cold blooded murderer keeps you going until the very end(and the way the killer manages to stay ahead of the authorities is really good). Unlike some movies I have seen in the past it also has an excellent ending. If you want to see a good movie, rent it before you purchase it, so you'll only be spending a small amount for the rental, and if you're disappointed you won't be out that much money. I for one plan to purchase this movie in the near future as I thought it was well worth the time that I spent watching it.

This was a great, little movie that I'd never heard of! What a clever and creative story this is for viewers. Not only was it suspenseful, is also turned out to be a science fiction story.
Cuba Gooding was excellent, as always as was Neal McDonaugh as the killer. I don't want to give any of it away, as I think it's only up to the ones
who choose to do these reviews, to give our opinion's or impressions, etc. and to let the people out there decide if they want to watch this or not. I get tired of seeing entire plots of movies given away and I don't quite understand why someone feels the need to do that! With that said, I loved this film and thought it had a great plot. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

I really enjoyed this move despite the subject of time travel. Let's face it, time travel and logic just don't mix when making a movie. That being sadi, this was a pretty good film that entertains and keeps moving. There might be a couple slow spots, but they are actually important to the plot. Cuba Gooding Jr. gives a solid performance as the hero trying to make sense of it all but the realspotlight should be on Neal McDonough. He is simply awesome as the badguy. I mean he can just radiate evil when he wants to. My advice is to watch this with an open mind and try not to thing about the logic of time travel. Enjoy it for what it is: A couple hours of entertainment. It delivered more than I expected. That's why I gave it 5 stars.

Recently watched another good mystery thriller, TICKING CLOCK (2012 film) with Cuba Gooding, Jr. starring as an investigative reporter trying to solve a series of gruesome murders. A few sub-plots added to the storyline as well as twists make for an intriguing film. As always, very fine acting by Gooding, Jr.

I read some of the reviews that indicated that this was a really good movie and since it has 2 of my favorite actors I decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE! It's trite. It's predictable. If I didn't know better I think someone used the notes for how NOT to write a script and then faithfully followed it. Maybe if the characters hadn't been caricature it might have been more entertaining. I didn't even finish watching it -- I had a tea kettle that needed to be descaled and cleaned that was more entertaining.

Very interesting that keeps you guessing all the time throughout the entire show, a thriller at its best. Plenty of suspense with a fantastic cast that keeps you entertained all the way through. Never a dull moment the storyline is fabulous and you need to be on your toes not missing anything. Story goes that there are several brutal murders and the killer has evaded the police all this time, now a nosey crime journalist who is a specialist, stumbles onto a book with names of future victims and the time is running out. With a new girlfriend on that list well to bad he's to late. she has become the killers next victim so the race is on to discover who the killer is and than try to stop him, that is another matter as he seems to be just as guilty. Wonderfully executed so it merits an A grade plus in my books and highly recommended. Not telling anymore as not to spoil it for you, plenty of twist and turns in this fast paced thriller with a lot of great ideas to go with it, now go grab the popcorn gather up the movie, lock up all the windows and doors head for your chair to put your feet up, try to relax, now it's time to watch something different and don't forget the clock is ticking. Enjoy!

Fantastic film for all those that love a good old thriller. Cuba Gooding Jr is a severely underrated and underused actor, but he's great and he leads this film well. No overacting.

Good storyline and reasonably original.
Some interesting ideas and twists.
Nothing outstanding though, it's worth a watch but not two.
