Even her closest friends are turning against her.
And Meghan Markle heard three devastating words that she is going to hate.
Sophie Trudeau makes it clear that she’s no fan of Meghan Markle
Sophie Trudeau – the estranged wife of tyrannical Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau – was the latest big name to distance herself from Meghan Markle.
“I know her,” is all Trudeau was willing to say about Markle in an interview with the London Sunday Times.
The Times wrote that Trudeau “did not gush back” about Markle and made it clear that they “haven’t spent much time together.”
And just to rub salt in the wound, Trudeau wanted her expression of sympathy for Princess Kate Middelton – Markle’s Royal Family rival – on the record after Middelton announced her cancer diagnosis.
“My heart just sank when I saw what was happening,” Trudeau told the Times.
A massive 180 in the relationship
In a 2022 episode of Markle’s now canceled Archetypes podcast, she recounted fondly her time spending a day with Trudeau.
“We swam, we drank wine, we splashed in the water,” Markle stated. “Then threw some pool floats in.”
“This was the other version of us,” Markle added.
“Both with wild curly hair and swimsuits and loose linen and huge belly laughs. Big cuddles with our little ones and quiet whispers of girl talk on the terrace, giddy, like absolute school girls. We were just having so much fun,” Markle continued.
“I just absolutely adore you,” Markle said of Trudeau.
What changed
The fall from grace for Trudeau and Markle’s mutual friend Jess Mulroney – daughter-in-law of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney – may explain the rift between Markle and Trudeau.
Mulroney met Markle in Toronto where she filmed her USA show called Suits.
Mulroney attended Markle’s 2018 wedding to Prince Harry, and her daughter served as a flower girl and her sons as page boys.
But the woke mob turned on Mulroney in 2020 when she urged her social media followers to “speak up” about the Black Lives Matter movement and caused Canadian fashion blogger Sarah Exeter to take offense.
Exeter then accused Mulroney of exhibiting “textbook white privilege.”
“Listen, I am by no means calling Jess a racist but what I will say is this: She is very well aware of her wealth, her perceived power and privilege because of the color of her skin,” Exeter declared. “And that, my friends, gave her the momentary confidence to come for my livelihood in writing. Textbook white privilege, really, in my personal opinion.”
Mulroney tried to apologize.
“As I told you privately, I have lived a very public and personal experience with my closest friend where race was front and center. It was deeply educational,” Mulroney wrote.
Exeter responded by sharing a direct message where Mulroney threatened to sue her.
“Liable [sic] suit. Good luck,” Mulroney wrote.
Mulroney made the classic mistake of doubling down on her apology.
“I want to say from my heart that every word of my apologies to Sasha over the course of the last two weeks privately, and again both publicly and privately today is true,” Mulroney stated. “I did not intend in any way to jeopardize her livelihood. We had a disagreement and it got out of hand. For that I am sorry.”
“I plan to use this time to reflect, learn and listen,” Mulroney concluded. “I want you to know that I’m committed to using every platform and resource available to me to continue the important work of anti-racism. I hope you will all continue to hold me accountable.”
Mulroney has been out of the public eye since this incident, and Meghan Markle dropped her as a best friend.
But it looks like Markle’s woke politics cost her two friends, as Sophie Trudeau will barely acknowledge her existence.
