Theodora Richards is the daughter of a rock star and supermodel

Talk about good genes! Theodora Dupree Richards was born in 1985 in New York to American supermodel Patti Hansen and The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.

Her parents have been married for 39 years and she recently shared a celebration post on Instagram about their long-standing romance. “We’ve been through a lot but the love is so strong and powerful that it carries us forever forward on a cloud of compassion and courage,” she wrote.

Theodora has a younger sister Alexandra, 36, who’s also a model and a DJ. They share two half-siblings, Marlon, 53, and Angela Richards, 50, from their dad’s relationship with ex-girlfriend Anita Pallenberg. Keith and Pallenberg also tragically lost a three-month-old son in 1976 to sudden infant death syndrome, per Hollywood Life.

With her dad’s busy schedule, Theodora would occasionally join tours during her childhood. For her 10th birthday, she celebrated with The Rolling Stones in Tokyo, according to Interview magazine, but it seems she also had plenty of downtime with her doting dad. In one heartfelt photo she shared with the publication, a two-year-old Theodora and Keith are seen watching Dumbo together.

She’s a model, like mum

Richards has followed in the footsteps of her model mum, who was considered a classic beauty and “It” girl of the 70s.

The 37-year-old has appeared in magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and British Vogue, and campaigns from Banana Republic to Burberry. But she told Reserved Magazine that she’s not signed with an agency: “If someone really wants to find me, they can.”

So she’s got the modelling traits from her mum, but what has she learned from dad? Style! In an interview with Dujour, Theodora said her dad still influences her fashion sense: “I think I have a stage persona because of him, for sure. He gave me this freedom and love of clothing.”

She added that her favourite thing to steal from his wardrobe is a skull-and-sword print silk cotton-blend button-down top from the 80s.

She may not be rocking the stage (yet?!), but Richards has shown her passion for music by interviewing some of her favourite rock legends on a monthly music show she hosts on SiriusXM. “Music is what ties me to this earth,” she told Dujour, saying she’d love to interview Billy Idol and Ric Ocasek from The Cars.

Creative at heart

Father-daughter project alert! Aside from modelling, Richards also showed off her illustration skills when she did the artwork for her dad’s children’s book Gus and Me.

Clearly, Richards has a flair for the creative arts. She told The Bare Magazine that she’s into art, especially painting, dance, floral arrangements, cooking and improv. Phew!

Run-in with the law

Back in 2011, when she was 25, Richards made headlines when she appeared in a Manhattan court after getting in trouble for a graffiti and drugs case, per Independent Ireland. The article stated that her case was dismissed and she had to do community service. Her lawyer also said she was free from any drug problems.
