The film boasts a great cast and a 90% Rotten Tomatoes score.
Our TV movie pick for tonight (Thursday, 14 March) is Their Finest, the 2016 war comedy-drama film.
Set in 1940, it follows a married woman (Gemma Arterton) and a screenwriter (Sam Claflin) who develop a growing attraction all the while working together on a propaganda film about the evacuation of Allied troops from Dunkirk in France during World War II.
Also featuring among its impressive ensemble cast Bill Nighy, Eddie Marsan, Helen McCrory, Jack Huston, Jake Lacy, Jeremy Irons and Richard E. Grant, Their Finest’s beautiful period production design, its funny yet very emotional script and its wonderful performances earned the movie a 90% Rotten Tomatoes score.
The film is airing on BBC Four tonight at 9pm and is also available to rent on Apple TV, Rakuten TV and the Sky Store.
