Here is your invitation to ‘Find FURTHER’ with lululemon’s Run collection

lululemon is inviting you to ‘Find Further’ with its Run collection comprising innovative pieces for both women and men.

Looking to redefine the limit of what’s possible? lululemon is here to help you get to the next level alongside some high-performance encouragement with the introduction of its expanded Run collection — so everyone can be at the top of their game. After all, it’s all about inspiring the communities they represent, have a unique running story, and the desire to pursue a bold goal, to help unlock greater possibilities. In conjunction with the expansion of the Run collection, lululemon announced the multi-year global FURTHER campaign. First unveiled in May 2023, the campaign is the brand’s commitment to celebrate human possibility.

A record-breaking adventure with the Women’s Ultramarathon

In 2024, the brand launched the first-of-its-kind FURTHER Ultramarathon featuring 10 of its global female ambassadors. They included Camille Herron, Devon Yanko, Kayla Jeter, Leah Yingling, Mirna Valerio, Montana Farrah-Seaton, Stefanie Flippin, Vriko Kwok, Xiaomeng Jia and Yoon Young Kang. The inspirational athletes came from various backgrounds such as Leah Yingling (an ultrarunner, biomedical engineer and women’s advocate) Stefanie Flippin (a coach, ultrarunner, BIPOC advocate and doctor) and Xiaomeng Jia (an entrepreneur and a marathon runner).

Held at Lake Cahuilla in La Quinta, California from 6 March to 11 March, the Ultramarathon saw the athletes challenge themselves to see how much further they can run — and all 10 athletes surpassed their respective furthest distance; running a collective 4636.327 kilometres. Ultrarunner Camille Herron set a total of 13 records (pending ratification). One of them’s the Women’s Six-Day World Record at 901.764 kilometres which overtook the previous record by 352 kilometres. Hong Kong’s Vriko Kwok (an entrepreneur and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Athlete) set an ultimate personal best record at 303.313 kilometres.

What’s even more noteworthy is that all the female athletes wore specially designed kits that not only address their unique needs but were also created with their crucial insights. In fact, specific research and innovation were conducted together with the athletes to address needs and concerns with the undertaking of the study spanning a year. This is a testament to lululemon’s commitment to supporting women and to see how far they can go.

lululemon’s Chief Brand Officer Nikki Neuburger on the campaign: “Women have historically been overlooked and underserved in athletics, and as a brand committed to helping all people feel their best, we have a responsibility to create more equity for our communities by investing to close this gap. When supported with innovation and resources, we are confident women will continue to redefine the limits of what’s possible. This is the motivation and purpose behind our FURTHER initiative”.
