The World Dog Awards

HONORING PRIZE PUPS ON THE PLANET WITH HOST GEORGE LOPEZ — For a second year, The World Dog Awards returns combining the glamour of a Hollywood awards show with the appreciation for man's best friend.  Hosted again by George Lopez, the ceremony will spotlight pups who have achieved fame in the world of entertainment and on social media, as well as everyday dogs who have made an impact on the lives of their human companions.  Categories include Best in Film, Top TV Dog, Supporting Actor to a Dog and Dog of the Year.  Celebrities scheduled to appear include Paula Abdul, Guiliana Rancic, Shanice Williams ("The Wiz") and Ariel Winters ("Modern Family") among many others.
