The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to New York, taking over Pier 94 with its supermodels and musical guests. All of the brand’s favorite catwalkers were in attendance, from Adriana Lima and Sara Sampaio to Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, with the Swedish Angel, Elsa Hosk, wearing this year’s Fantasy Bra made of Swarovski crystals.
But more than just an advertisement for Victoria’s Secret’s lingerie and its elaborate angel wings, the fashion show included a fully fleshed-out section of VS Pink apparel and a capsule collection from Mary Katrantzou, both of which brought a friendlier, more attainable spirit to the runway. It helps, too, that this year featured the show’s most ethnically diverse cast of models, allowing more women—though certainly not all women!—to feel represented by what they see on the runway.
As for the musical performers, all eyes and ears were on heartthrob Shawn Mendes and Halsey. The show aired on ABC on December 2. Click through to see every over-the-top runway turn, here.
