      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Stuffed with characters and overly reliant on uninspired dialogue, Eclipse won't win The Twilight Saga many new converts, despite an improved blend of romance and action fantasy.

Chris M Evil vampiress Victoria is creating an army of newly turned vampires to attack the town to kill Bella. These movies are so forgettable I honestly don't remember why. It's probably because of she's jealous and thinks killing her with get Edward back. Also, these movies have everything phase of the moon except the one connected to Jacob, the "werewolf". And since the only affect sunlight has on vampires here is turn them into walking disco balls, break dawn has no meaning. None of the titles have no connection to the stories at all. Like if Victoria was planning on attacking during an eclipse because the werewolves would lose their power to transform, that would have make sense. But considering my grandmother knew more about vampires than Stephenie Meyer does. All we get is this romantic dribble pretending to be Werewolves and vampires. But this is at least a tiny bit better than the last one, but not by much. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/24 Full Review James E Probably the best in the twilight franchise and a solid entry in the vampire movie community. Some of the characters and dialogue are still just as hard to watch, but the entertainment value is present and the action is fun. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Emilliano Jr S Another cash grab sequel Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Sreemoyee D been 14 years to its release, im still watching it all through middle school till now, kinda nostalgic, also being a Robert Pattinson fan helps too. #teamedward Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review Alain M Twilight: Eclipse" earns a modest 3-star rating, showing some improvement from its predecessor. The film continues to spotlight the physicality of Taylor Lautner's Jacob, while Robert Pattinson's Edward takes on a more prominent role. However, Pattinson's perpetually anguished expressions and the lack of the anticipated magical intimate moment for the characters leave the audience yearning for more. The film's saving grace is the final battle scene, injecting some excitement into the narrative. Overall, "Twilight: Eclipse" falls short of fully engaging the audience, landing it at a respectable but not outstanding 3-star rating.
