actually i don't want to be too cozy. But like this - atmospheric and old world charm, rain is better, middle of an old town/city.

Ah. Love this.

These are both vastly different and maybe not even close but check out The Echoes of Old Books and Night Film (Marisha Pessl)

And Sherlock, but that may be too on the nose.
