Sugar P I guarentee this movie is based on BS. Tom Hanks does a terrible job as a foreigner. The body language and head movements is all wrong. Anyways 18 years stuck in a terminal? BS BS BS. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review letaiser i absolute love this movie ,when I was younger I always watched this movie and gave it a rewatch and it is a classic and cult ,the ending might be one of the most and best endings ever it is very emotional ,the acting is very good and tom hanks plays his role perfect and that it is even based on true story is more crazy ,it is definitely in my top movies of all time ,there were some basic romantic and drama scenes like in many movies but still tho this movie is and stays a classic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Aleenna M It's the second time I see this, and I hugely enjoyed it this time also. The movie is a dramedy, light and funny, and Tom Hanks makes a great role, as usual - loved him to bits! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/10/24 Full Review alvin a what kind of society think it's acceptable to keep a man hostage in an airport because he's a "man of no country"??? how awful is that?? and then Steven Spielberg makes a little happy romcom about it makes me just speechless. what is his real motivation to make this film? I feel that's so morally disgusting. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/02/24 Full Review Bolulu Z when his country going into chaos, they wouldn't have given him a visa in the first place. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/02/24 Full Review Jalile A its actually crazy how much of a miss this was for Spielberg. i didnt know anything about this film besides the basic premise going in. a hallmark movie starring tom hanks. except, he doesnt get to be tom hanks, because he has to put on this horrible vague eastern european accent for the entirety of the film and barely even speaks for the first 30 minutes! there is absolutely no chemistry between our two leads, and the movie recognizes it but still goes along with it. Namrata Joshi Outlook Spielberg turns the sublime into the banal, at times taking it to the verge of ridiculous. Rated: 2/4 Jan 7, 2019 Full Review Nell Minow Common Sense Media Lovely and well worth sharing with your family. Rated: 4/5 Dec 29, 2010 Full Review Nick Schager Lessons of Darkness Hanks' overdone slapstick antics and awful accent ... keep this featherweight farce from taking flight. May 4, 2005 Full Review Alan Jones Radio Times While the performances are appealing, Spielberg relies too heavily on the airport-terminal-as-microcosm-of-society angle and the saccharine sentimentality gets piled on as the credibility decreases. Rated: 3/5 Apr 12, 2024 Full Review Akos Peterbencze Vulnerable Man (Medium) Although it is way too idealistic, The Terminal works because the characters’ idiosyncrasies are still relevant today. The script conveys that universal bond immigrants form between each other, given their social status in a foreign country. Jul 22, 2023 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand ... an impossibly romantic portrait of an immigration nightmare that becomes an irresistible fantasy thanks to the grace and compassion of Spielbergs direction.
