Hoping to harness the magical Smurf-essence, evil wizard Gargamel creates a pair of Smurflike creatures, called Naughties. However, only a real Smurf can give Gargamel what he wants, so he kidnaps Smurfette to force her to cast a spell that will transform the Naughties into Smurfs. This strangely was told backwards. It told a narrative about Smurfette, when this should have been told in the first movie. It was sort of like a prequel sequel, but not well executed. A fun ending to this movie as well and still bland.
