Роман В The Silence of the Lambs is a 1991 cult horror film that won numerous awards, including five Oscars. The film stars such talented actors as Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins. The film became one of the most successful at the box office and won recognition from both critics and audiences. The Silence of the Lambs follows a young FBI agent named Clarice Starling who seeks the help of a psychotic cannibal named Hannibal Lecter. She asks him to help catch a serial killer nicknamed "Buffalo Bill". During the investigation, a tense game unfolds with a smart and cruel killer. The Silence of the Lambs scores 9 out of 10. The film's strengths include a gripping storyline, outstanding acting, especially Anthony Hopkins as Lecter, and an atmosphere of tension and horror. The downside is that there are some violent scenes that may be shocking to some viewers. I recommend the film "The Silence of the Lambs" to all fans of the horror genre and those who appreciate quality cinema. This film not only keeps you in suspense until the very end, but also ponders deep themes of human nature and psychology. Don't miss the opportunity to plunge into an atmosphere of fear and intrigue with this cinematic masterpiece. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/24 Full Review Jeremy N There's so much I would love to say about this movie, but as I've read multiple articles and reviews of the years, it would appear that I am just repeating myself on how stellar of a cast production values and clot details go beyond what I'd ever imagine Let's just say when I first saw this movie I was very young so it took us second watch a year or two later, but then I felt like I had the material enough to appreciate the material the dialogue and the directors way of inducing fear in the most passive ways possible Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review Shawan S "The Silence of the Lambs" is a timeless classic that explores themes of power, manipulation, and the blurred line between good and evil. Director Demme's foreboding storytelling, moody photography, and spectacular performances by Foster and Hopkins make it a must-see for fans of the genre. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review Eduarda O Sinistro e hipnotizante ao mesmo tempo. Rainha. Bonzasso até nos mínimos detalhes. Eu não seria nada contra mais filmes assim <3 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review L. H The is def my favo movie of all times! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Hargie M Words cannot describe how ravishingly intelligent and brutally straightforward that this film is. Wendy Ide Times (UK) The crux of this excellent thriller is the battle of intellect and wills between them [Clarice Starling and Dr Hannibal Lecter]. Dec 7, 2022 Full Review Kathy Huffhines Detroit Free Press Throughout the movie, Demme gets across more terror than a dozen Friday the 13ths by showing not the horrifying thing itself but the faces of people looking at horror. Rated: 8/10 Mar 23, 2022 Full Review Mark Johnson Awards Daily Suspenseful and shrewd, Hopkins’ Lecter is one of the most fascinating villains in film (despite less than 20 min of screen time). In spite of his contemptible reproach and steely demeanor, there’s just something about Lecter that makes us root for him. Jun 8, 2023 Full Review Terry Francis Southern Voice (Atlanta) Most books, plays or films never give us even this much. Yet The Silence of the Lambs gives us so much that it's a shame the film doesn't find ways to deepen its concentration on the colossal aberrance of the minds of its complementary terrors.
