this film literally broke me but learning so many new things about how it was filmed is so interesting. I like the bond between Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.
Not even rewatching the movie, I just realized I hadn’t seen this and wanted a few more minutes of Bradley doing his Sam Elliott voice
This was extremely bittersweet to watch for certain reasons but also very interesting. I still love those two a lot.
This movie, if you boil it down, is about one thing, that we need each other, and that we're stronger when we're with each other, and holding each other, and caring for each other.
Sam Elliott: I’m like you, I get emotional thinking about this thing too...
My adoration for A Star Is Born is well documented, and I didn’t believe it could increase seeing as I’ve thought about this film every day since I watched it for the first time and its songs have become suffused with my bloodstream and ingrained in my consciousness, but The Road To Stardom pushes that love and justifies that love even further. Hearing the cast and crew talk about the film so lovingly, and combining personal insight with technical analysis and explanation, is a rare yet joyous thing these days when it comes to the tacked on special features on a home release. Here, the 30 minutes…
I’ve seen a ton of “making of” special features on DVDs before, but none has ever made me cry.
Well, there’s a first for everything, right?
in a fair and just world this would win the academy award for best documentary short!
imagine just chilling out at a table read than BAM lady gaga just starts hitting these vocals out of nowhere. this is what we call talent.
