Another Dave Friedman film I wasn't particularly kind to when reviewing it upon its DVD release by Image way back when, I'm pleasantly surprised at how much more I enjoyed Ed Forsyth's THE RAMRODDER when revisiting it. It's certainly one of the strongest adult westerns from this era, with enough tantalizing sensuality mixed with a strong story and admirable tech specs to help it stand out from the pack. There's simply no comparison between this and say, BRAND OF SHAME or FANDANGO.
