What is Cashback?
It is a savings method that allows you to recover part of the money from your online purchases, just for placing your order through Rakuten in one of our 400+ partner shops.
How do I get Cashback?
To earn Cashback on your order, you simply have to go to rakuten.co.uk to activate Cashback at the start of your shopping journey. You then complete your purchase with the brand as usual. Shortly after, we will notify you about the Cashback you've earned on your purchase.
How long will it take to receive the Cashback?
Brands take between a few minutes to a few days to notify us of your purchases. Your order will be posted to your pending Cashback balance as soon as the brand reports your transaction. Once the brand validates your transaction, which usually takes 60-90 days from the completion of your order, Cashback will be confirmed and will be included in your next payment.
When will I receive my Cashback payment?
Your confirmed Cashback will be sent to your bank or PayPal account once per month. Please ensure that you have a valid payment method added in Account Settings.
How can I make sure I always get Cashback on my orders?
There are two things to keep in mind. 1) Make sure you allow cookies on the brand websites. Otherwise, they may not be able to notify us about your purchase. 2) With some brands, for example, there may be exceptions where Cashback is not granted for certain items or when a discount code is used. Be sure to check the Exclusions for each brand on its profile page on Rakuten.co.uk.
Who is Ebates Performance Marketing Inc.?
The new platform will be operated by Ebates Performance Marketing Inc located in the US, which is another subsidiary of Rakuten Group. Ebates Performance Marketing Inc has been successfully operating its Cashback platform in the US, Japan, and Canada.
