Synopsis
The movie The House by the Cemetery (1981) is an Italian horror film directed by Lucio Fulci. The plot revolves around the Boyle family, who move into a New England home to investigate the murder-suicide of a colleague of Dr. Norman Boyle, played by Paolo Malco. The family soon discovers that the house is hiding a gruesome secret in its basement, and a series of murders begin to take place.
The movie explores themes of death, decay, and the supernatural, as the Boyle family becomes increasingly entangled in the dark history of the house.
The movie The House by the Cemetery (1981) features a number of memorable scenes, including a sequence in which a character is attacked by a bat, and another in which a character is impaled on a large splinter.
