What are they doing to their kids to make them into someone a time traveler wants to kill.
Naming them Ahshleeigh Nevaeh.
You would think it would be simpler to just kill the mother at that point? Or is what she does after the children are gone the whole point of the time traveler's mission?
Once the child is killed no one realizes they grew up to be a monster. They juat know that a sibling died in the next kid's childhood.

Interpretation: Mother is bad enough to make their children come back in time to kill themselves once born, and the pattern repeats with each child
That or that all the kids end up someone even worse than Hitler so literally all the time travelers go right for whatever kid is born.

This started as a "Go back to kill baby evil" thought experiment from the parent's pov but I wanted to make it vague enough that it could be the parenting, environment, fate or just something else that always causes a monster to manifest.
I like it! It definitely achieved the desired “What goes wrong?” effect when I read it :)

I interpreted it as the children all ending up the type that someone would timetravel to kill before they can do whatever they were going to do
