      Katie D A little slow to start but it's funny, quirky and great storytelling. I'm glad there was more highlights in the movie beyond what is in the trailer. The film tackles serious topics like cultural differences and illness with grace and humor, and manages to strike a perfect balance between comedy and drama. The supporting cast, including Holly Hunter and Ray Romano, are also excellent and add depth to the story. The Big Sick is a must-watch film that will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is because there were a few moments where the pacing felt a little slow. This is a minor critique and doesn't detract from the overall excellence of the film. If you're looking for a movie that's both funny and heartfelt, then The Big Sick is definitely worth checking out.
