'Angel' is a beautiful 'slow jam' with Anita's beautiful voice singing clear and strong (I loved the guitar throughout the song); 'You're The Best Thing Yet' is a nice song and once again I loved the guitar as well as Anita's vocals; 'No More Tears' is a lovely song with strings and Anita's vocals as well as her background singers were great; 'Sweet Love' is a song I never tire of listening to and this will always be my favorite 'slow jam'; 'Caught Up In The Rapture' is another great song and Anita enunciated every word perfectly; 'You Bring Me Joy' is a great song and it sounded as though Anita was truly in love with her now ex-husband; 'Same Ole Love' ('365 Days A Year') is another favorite song of mine and the lyrics make a great point about being in love all year; 'No One In The World' is a nice song and it made a lot of sense; 'Ain't No Need To Worry' by The Winans featuring Anita Baker is a nice song that sounds more like a spiritual song than a love song; 'Giving You The Best That I Got' is another favorite song of mine and the song made a great point about being in a relationship (I loved the piano); 'Good Love' is a very smooth song with Anita's vocals clear and strong; 'Just Because' is a lovely song and once again it sounded as though Anita was in love with her ex-husband; 'Lead Me To Love' is a nice song; 'Fairy Tales' is a classic song that is also nice; 'Talk To Me' is another great song that I can definitely relate to and I wish more men would communicate with their women on their relationship; 'Body And Soul' sounds like a waltz song but it is a nice song; 'I Apologize' is a good song; 'It's Been You' is a nice song. The CD should have been a double CD without the radio edits and the songs 'Mystery' and 'Been So Long' were omitted!

Anita Baker hails from the 1980's, her biggest hit being "Sweet Love" which is the forth cut on this greatest hits album. Many of her albums went platinum, so she has a very large fan base and is still active at 62. She is soul to the core, but her uniqueness may be in her drifting style, which is pure Anita Baker. But I think there is a story behind her road to success being raised in foster homes all her life...she acquired the will to succeed, and she did.
Her music is very easy to listen to and can easily be enjoyed during a dinner party or just on the couch with the ear phones on. Enjoy.
