The quietest of the subjects housed in the Imperial vault at Mount Tantiss, Sami is a cautious young girl who is wary of upsetting her keepers. Worn down by her time in captivity, Sami — or SP-39 as the Empire calls her — barely dares to so much as speak to the other children imprisoned alongside her.

Hidden away inside Mount Tantiss, the Empire has been working on a new squad of elite soldiers, codenamed Clone X troopers. In the CX observation lab, unwilling test subjects are conditioned to serve the Empire as assassins.

The clone trooper Vik has given up hope. A prisoner of the Empire on Mount Tantiss, his days in confinement have instilled a belief that no one is coming to release him and his brothers.

The majestic peak of Mount Tantiss contains many secrets. Inside the secret Imperial base on the world of Wayland, the planet’s natural beauty hides a beastly laboratory. The facility is run by Dr. Royce Hemlock, head of the Empire's Advanced Science Division, in his quest to complete Project Necromancer and develop the Clone X series. Utilizing the cloning technology stolen from Kamino, Hemlock oversees ghastly experimentation on clone prisoners and a small group of children kept in a secret vault, as well as other top-secret initiatives known only to high-ranking Imperials.

Dr. Emerie Karr blends into the crowd of Imperial medical professionals working inside the secret labs at Mount Tantiss on the world of Wayland. A diligent worker who seems to have compassion for the clone prisoners on her exam table, Dr. Karr believes that resisting the Empire's experimentation is futile. But she has more empathy for her test subjects than some, owing to the fact she is also the result of Kaminoan cloning technology, a sister to Omega and the other clones.

Royce Hemlock once served the Galactic Republic, but his penchant for experimentation eschewed the ideals of that democracy. After the rise of the Empire, Doctor Hemlock enjoys a new title as head of the Advanced Science Division wielding the power to control secret medical trials in cloning technology at the Mount Tantiss facility on Wayland. Working on secret projects of great interest to the Emperor himself, Hemlock has amassed a veritable army of clone prisoners, unwilling subjects for his invasive procedures.

As Kamino’s chief medical scientist, Nala Se played a key role in engineering the Grand Army of the Republic — and worked to protect the army’s secrets. She cared for clones injured on the battlefield, supervising their rehabilitation even when Separatist attacks threatened her own life as well as the lives of soldiers, and kept the experimental clone called Omega as her medical assistant. But Nala Se had a ruthless side as well. Following the orders of Count Dooku — whom she knew as Lord Tyranus — she sought to conceal knowledge of the bio-chips implanted in the clones to ensure that they obeyed protocols such as Order 66. After the dawn of the Empire, she was taken prisoner following the destruction of Tipoca City and stationed at the Imperial facility at Mount Tantiss. In her defeat, she was made to serve the Emperor in his quest for control over the cloning process.

Clone Commander Scorch understands the sensitive nature of the Empire's scientific studies. After one cloning experiment gets loose on the world of Silla, Scorch diligently assists his fellow soldiers to corral the panicked villagers and escort them off world. This ensures that the Empire remains fully in control of the situation. He primarily serves Dr. Royce Hemlock at the secret Mount Tantiss facility.

An ambitious, ruthless proponent of military power, Wilhuff Tarkin became a favorite of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and rose rapidly through the Imperial ranks. Shortly after the Empire's creation, he was put in charge of the construction of the Death Star. Tarkin saw the Death Star as a way to crush all dissent to the Empire's rule -- fear of the station's planet-killing superlaser would keep the galaxy's star systems in line. He demonstrated the station's power by destroying Alderaan, but died soon afterwards when the Death Star itself was destroyed.

In charge of Docking Bay 5-02 of the Imperial orbital station over Coruscant, Lt. Holmes is a prime example of the Empire’s zest for order. Visitors not logged in his manifest will be subject to a swift interrogation. But the mere appearance of Imperial authority is not enough to quell his suspicions.

The Head Medical Officer on Mount Tantiss, Dr. Scalder oversees cloning procedures and other scientific experimentation at the behest of Dr. Royce Hemlock.

On the foggy world of Bora Vio in the Lido System, scientists once erected a floating cloning facility perfectly concealed in the atmosphere. Long after the building has fallen to disuse, the clone Omega finds herself hiding in the deserted structure, desperately racing down interconnecting catwalks to try to escape the bounty hunter on her tail.
