The Amps

About The Amps

The Amps were an alternative band formed by Kim Deal (vocals / guitars) after The Breeders went on hiatus in 1995. Completing the group were Jim Macpherson (drums), Nate Farley (guitars), and Luis Lerma (bass). They only released one record, Pacer in October 1995 and went on a tour of the US, Europe and Australia before Kim made the decision to revive The Breeders in 1996.
