Hats Off to Our Heritage is a float that celebrates the 85th anniversary of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade which appeared in 2011. Borrowing a similar format of 2001's Toon Balloon-Abration! float, it featured walk-around versions of many characters that had balloons in the parade which had been retired, surrounding a "hat" prop that was ridden by former Macy's producers Jean McFadden and Robin Hall (the latter of whom was replaced by Amy Kule that year).
