One Journey Four (5) Countries 2024 - from ZagrebThis tour with Elite Travels was busy - so much to see in so little time. Hotels and food were great. Best part was Damir, our guide for the entire trip. I've taken many tours and he stands out as the best of them all. He was excellent in every way - in giving us clear instructions, telling us what to expect for the day, very patient, answered all out questions, and was very knowledgeable of the places we visited, including their histories. Our driver, Tatiana, was not just an expert driver, but very helpful and kind. Our English speaking local guides were all good, but I would point out Kristina as the best. She had all kinds of surprises for us, including giving me a dance lesson on a local dance and writing my name in cyrilic alphabet. Scars and stories from the war of the 1990s are heartbreaking but I deeply appreciated seeing and hearing them firsthand. Travel must be an educational experience of both the good and bad. So thank you, Elite Travels for a wonderful 10 day journey!

Europe EscapeThe trip was an absolute great taste of several Western European countries. We jammed a lot of itinerary into a twelve day trip. Overall, the accomodations and meals were favorable. I would like to make a suggestion. On the first day or the trip, we were walked for miles through the side streets of Venice. People were not ready for this level of exertion on the very frist day of the trip. Within days, I saw two women limping and wearing knee braces in order to walk. There were people utilizing canes to walk. I have Lupus and am prone to bouts of fatigue, especially when expoised to too much sun and heat. I would ask that the company appropriates a water taxi for the coach passengers that will drop them off at the dick right next to Piazza San Marco.rather than that grind of a walk throught the side streets. People want to see the Piazza, not the side streets That first miles long walk took its toll on many of the passengers. I even saw one women entering the coach and break into tears because of her pain level. Most of the people on this trip were in their fifties and sixties. I'm sure they were not expecting such a rigorous daily regiment. I'm 6' 6'' and 300+. I was averaging 10,000 to 15, 000 steps a day on on uneven cobblestone, and boy did it ever take its toll on my knees and joints. I'm still recovering from the achy knees. That's the only suggestion I have. Find a way to get the tourist from point A to B without having people on vacation walk for multiple miles. It's a vacation. You're not supposed to return home injured and in pain.

Britain and Ireland Highlights (10 Days)The tour director and driver were both excellent, and the tour was well and thoughtfully conducted. The only negative criticism I would give for this tour concerns the bus which was smaller than any I've been on with past tourradar tours. We all were physically cramped, and the smaller size limited the view we had from the bus as well. In addition, there was only one cell charging spot on the entire vehicle! Last comment: Please have tour directors make it very clear that we tourists are expected to tip each and every local tour guide. It was embarrassing to me to see that many of us neglected to do so.
