What travelers are saying
- Rachel M11 contributionsI really like this park and area of Terrassa. Beautiful and quiet. They have a lovely swimming pool at one end during the summer and a jazz festival in the park that is well known by locals. A lovely place for an autumn stroll or summer picnic. Dog and children friendly. There are ramps making it wheel chair accessible and a modest cafe selling refreshments.Written September 17, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. In Romanesque times they were a bishopric for the town of Egara, now known as Terrassa. These fairly small, well-preserved churches not only have some remnant of Byzantine frescoes, but they were constructed on top of Roman ruins. In several parts of the complex the ground has been excavated to show the Roman ruins and glassed over so that you can be walking through the Romanesque building and looking directly down into the Roman one. A film explaining the complex is shown in English, Spanish, and Catalan. Complete the afternoon with a visit to the nearby castle and a stroll through the well-landscaped and inviting Parc Vallparadis.Written April 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are plenty of activities for children.Written May 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A genuine art nouveau home with large tapestries and luminous paintings. Gorgeous stained glass, especially in the sun room leading to the garden. The garden is beautifully laid out. On the top floor is a very good Chinese sculpture collection.Written October 2, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sharon B13 contributionsThis ancient castle of the Dukes of Valparadis is easily accessible by foot from anywhere in Terrassa. It's nicely preserved and you can stroll through it and see the whole thing in less than hour.
