As Faith Evans gears up for the release of her collaborative effort The King and I with The Notorious B.I.G., she unveils her new song “Take Me There” featuring Styles P and Sheek Louch.
Fans are in store for a pleasant surprise, as Evans presents her new song as an official lyric video. The visual displays vintage footage of The Notorious B.I.G. hanging out in the studio with Junior Mafia and Evans. Produced by Just Blaze, “Take Me There” uses unreleased vocals of Biggie.
“Inhale this, clench your first/ Then ya feel the mist through the uterus/ Can you picture this?/ Life without me/ Wake up having bad dreams/ ‘Cause you fiend for a tote,” raps Big.

Biggie’s meaty verse, in addition to Styles’ and Sheek’s hard-nosed lyrics, makes the track a gritty one. As for Evans, she slyly slides her way onto the chorus and makes her presence felt.
“Take Me There” serves as the fifth release from The King and I. Earlier releases include “Legacy,” “When We Party” featuring Snoop Dogg, “NYC” featuring Jadakiss and “Ten Wife Commandments.”
