Welcome to WikiProject Sydney! This WikiProject aims primarily to create, fill out, build, edit, construct, and modify articles about Sydney. Sydney is the oldest city in New South Wales and Australia and has many places of interest, significant events and interesting people that have helped form the unique character and style of the city. If you would like to join this project, we would love your help, so please add your name to the list below, and look at the to-do list for some suggestions on articles that you may be able to help with. (BBC News) 27 November 2023 – The Australian government dismisses Mike Pezzullo as Secretary of the Department of Home Affairs for breaching the public service code of conduct, following an investigation into Pezzullo's alleged encrypted communications with other politicians. (AFP via New Vision) 26 November 2023 – 2023 ATP Tour In tennis, Italy wins its first Davis Cup title since 1976 after defeating Australia 2–0 in the finals.
