Larry F If you are a Maron fan, then you may like this movie. Otherwise, it comes across like a failed TV pilot that was pitched to TBS. How this was green lit into a movie is beyond my understanding. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review Lim Q Just a poorly conceived idea. Poorly executed and just not well made. Performances are all off and the writing is just a little too "written" Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/12/23 Full Review Shari H Fantastic characters. Really enjoyed this film. Not a weak character in the bunch. And not only the characters but such a strong script. I am really sad the director died because she shares some genius here. The simple moments between people when they peak around the mask. Well done. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/06/23 Full Review Emma T Several laugh out loud moments for me. Very entertaining, silly, and ridiculous. My kind of comedy. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/26/23 Full Review isla s This is quite a good film, with the 2 main performances done well by Gwyneth Paltrow and Daniel Craig. Its a sad story of course but I liked some of the prose spoken and its not too bad in terms of being a period piece. It isn't a film I'm likely to want to re-watch but it's a pretty good film otherwise - somewhat thought provoking I suppose. Yes, I would recommend it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The dry intelligent humor and 4 main characters make this a movie worth watching. The story was original enough that you did not see what was coming (which I appreciate) but the writing toward the end (and a few of the actors along the way) were a bit hokey. Still, the movie overall is pretty good. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Nell Minow AWFJ.org Poised between Christopher Guest and Mike Leigh, Lynn Shelton lets talented performers develop their characters, and it grounds the heightened premise to keep us in their side.
