Looks like Gene Takovic is still a movie fan.
Yeah, I noticed that too... and it is going to fail within 72 hours. What an unexpected reference.

So I'm a little behind. I just finished episode 4, "Hit and Run," and I'm having a hard time remembering why exactly Jimmy and Kim are so gung-ho about bringing down Harry. I really should have rewatched the show before the final season began, because the show being off for multiple years did me no favors. I remember last season Harry offering Jimmy a job at HHM, and that Jimmy took major offense to it, but help me remember what exactly the catalyst was that got Jimmy and Kim on such a laser-focused mission to destroy Howard.

This explanation might be a bit too simplified, you guys can chip in if you want.

Although Jimmy found out it was Chuck pulling all the strings behind the scene, and led to him not getting an offer from HHM; and he knew Howard knows he was being a puppet of Chuck. Jimmy never appreciated that a bit. And then what really motivated both of them was that, Kim was still working in doc reviews even after Kim secured Mesa Verde. They, especially Kim, felt like they were being played and not respected.

The first title after Break Bad is hard to pin point what it means, but the second one could means either Saul is dead, or we could see Jimmy coming back for good.

Just finished episode 7, and it looks like Howard had all of the same questions I did regarding Jimmy and Kim's motives. What they did to him just didn't seem like a proportionate response to anything I've ever seen him do to them. I'm not sure if we the audience were supposed to be rooting for Jimmy and Kim there, but I was on Howard's side. "Soulless." Yep, that about sums those two up.

Slightly off-topic, but here's Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul at the Albuquerque Convention Center the other day for the Breaking Bad statue unveiling.

I think recasting him was a mistake. I wonder if there was any way to fit in the That being said, I think it's one of the series' best episodes.

Like many of you, I prefer Don Harvey playing Jeff. Unfortunately he is under contract with another show, and was unable to play that role in S6. All in all I think Pat Healy did alright as the "new" Jeff.

I'm in the middle on this - liked the episode, but it's not among my favorites. As for Jeff, it didn't affect me the way it did this reviewer. Clearly didn't bother a lot of others either. But I get both sides.

Regarding the somewhat significant change in the character's demeanor though, I wonder if it was always in Gilligan's plan to
[Show spoiler]have Jeff living with mom. It doesn't seem like that's something Jeff 1 would have been doing. And maybe that was done to give mom more involvement in what's to come than we know at this time.

Really looking forward to tonight.

Two more episodes left...man, I'll be devastated when the show ends.

Also, the latest episode is just plain wonderful. Top-notch editing per usual and cool cameos.

I miss the early seasons bickering Walt & Jesse. That dynamic is what hooked me during it's original run.
