I had this back when it came out in the late 80s and a friend that borrowed it subsequently lost it. I never replaced it until recently after having looked for it every few years. I'm very happy to have found it again and picked right up where I left off in about 1990 blasting it full-tilt!!

I bought this album in 2002, more than a decade after it was released. It's a shame that this album never caught on, because, overall, this is an excellent album. It's full of great rockers with good, catchy hooks. However, there are a few faults. It is rather dated, and clear to the listener that this album came out in the 1980s. However, if you like 80s rock music, than that wont be a problem. The singer, Perry McCarty isn't the most dynamic or charismatic singer in the world. He sounds like a million other generic 80s glam singers. That's not really a problem though, because the centerpiece of this album is Steve Stevens. Steve Steven's plays brilliantly throughout the album. If you love his flashy, screeching guitar solos from his three albums with Billy Idol, then you wont be let down. There are several bluesy rockers on this album as well. Apart from the singer, the only other fault of this album are the lyrics to "Pet the Hot Kitty," probably the only throwaway song on the album. Despite its few faults, this is an excellent album, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes 80s rock.

Perfect remaster, 2 bonus tracks as well, a must buy even if you have the original release.
This remaster blows away the original, rock candy done this right, get it now before this runs out of print.

I've loved this album since it came out. I was time to upgrade to a CD. If you like 80's/90's metal, you'll like this

Album review: ATOMIC PLAYBOYS: Steve Stevens (WEA)
WITH Guns N' Roses opening a whole new hapter in music industry clonedom, the HR/HM catalogue has been cluttered with sleazy riffs, leather and denim of late. What the release of this album and the Mr Big opus does is squeeze rock `n' roll back into the spandex and opens up the sunroof.

Excelente disco.

Great guitar and great songs!

I remember when I bought this years ago on cassette; absolutely loved it but my cassette was starting to mess up so I was so happy when I saw this on CD. I already turned on friends to this and the biggest compliment the CD gets is that the guitar is awesome. Turned me into a Steve Stevens fan for life; vocals atr great to and so it the rest of the band! Well worth it!

Ottimo. 😉
