Five years ago I received this CD in a gift basket from my son on the occasion of his wedding. At the time I had not heard of Michael Ball, but immediately fell in love with his voice and the song choices on this CD. The music is so familiar and relaxing and evokes all the images of the stage and screen we love. I have played this CD over and over and never tire of listening to that magnificent voice. I have hundreds of CDs but this ranks among the best - to listen to, to sing or hum along to, and for me, to recall my son's wedding day.

He started off as Marius in Les Miserables, and currently is out on concert tour with the equally famous Alfie Boe, who also starred in Les Miserables in 2010 as Jean Paul Jean in the 25th Anniversary of Les Mis. Beautiful concerts--they blend well--concerts end December 14th, 2016. Don't miss this album!

A 3CD compilation of Michael Ball's songs over the years - full of nostalgia for his all time favourites such as the emotionally charged Empty Chairs from Les Mis, Music of the Night from Phantom, Not While I'm Around from Sweeney Todd, and of course Love Changes Everything. But my favourites would have to be the lesser know song from Matador, The Boy from Nowhere, full of pathos and a sense of failing in one's dreams; and I Believe I Can Fly, which always makes me feel as if I can somehow or other overcome all obstacles in spite of what life and people can throw at me. And for the more upbeat songs, it is hard to go past the fun Hot Stuff from The Full Monty and the Blues Brothers Medley. I cannot recommend this CD highly enough, not only for Michael Ball fans but for those people seeking a new recording artist in the Stage and Screen field - you will not be disappointed!

I have been a huge fan of Michael Ball's for over 25 years. His talent for musical theatre is, in my opinion, without equal in Britain. Anyone who enjoys what Michael does best should buy this Cd even if they have other recordings by Michael which may duplicate some of the songs. It is such a good compilation that I never hesitated in ordering it and I was not disappointed. Michael is hugely likeable and has a wonderful tone in his voice which is easily recognisable to his fans.
