Sophia of Pomerania was the daughter of Bogislaw IX, Duke of Pomerania in Stargard, and his wife Maria of Masovia[1].
She married Eric II, duke of Pomerania-Wolgast. They had nine children:
- Bogislaw X., duke of Pomerania
- Kasimir
- Wartislaw
- Barnim
- Elisabeth, prioress of Verchen abbey
- Sophie, married duke Magnus II of Mecklenburg
- Margaretha, married duke Balthasar of Mecklenburg
- Katharina, married duke Heinrich I of Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel
- Maria, abbess of Wollin[1].
Sophie died on 24 August 1497 (or 1494)[1].
