Extensive but constructive! After one with the recruiter explaining process, I had one with a Director assessing fit and talking about my experience then 2 Directors for a prepared case study then finally 2 partners for cultural fit

Interview with senior management (1hr) , case study interview (1hr) and then interview with Partners (2hr). Process took 2 - 3 weeks and was an enjoyable experience with good feedback and communication.

Initial Application form which took a couple of weeks. Then an assessment centre with a group task, individual interview and business case interview. Took a long time to get back to us after some chasing.

Total three stages. First stage with Sr Mgr with lots of competency based questions and technical question. Second stage with two directors where interviewee needs to present a case. I was given an hour for preparation. Then second hour is for presentation and Q&A from the directors. Last stage is interview with partner Both first and second interview were very tough and I was being asked a lot of different questions. Knowledge and experiences were assessed thoroughly and was successfully passed to final interview with partner. However, partner did not pass the final interview which I think the reasons were not really justifiable. It was such a waste of time for the candidate because it took a lot of time for the interview, and also preparation time. Don’t see alignment of comments from the interviewers overall and not sure what candidate they are looking for.

The interview process was fairly typical of what you would expect with a consultancy, with questions ranging from competency based examples through to a detailed and meticulous analysis of my curriculum vitae.

Baringa's interview process consist of a few stages: 1. Coffee session (Chat in a casual setting. Probably to screen if you are a suitable fit before proceeding for more structured interviews) 2. 1st Interview - Alot of questions to see how you would fit into the working culture - Standard HR questions here - Would say you should just answer as honestly as you can 3. Case Interview (1.5hrs) - 15min to explain the case to you, 45min to prepare, 30min to present - Challenging but personally, I found it manageable because of past work experience working with consultants elsewhere. Keep calm, understand what they are asking you are (really LISTEN), plan your time well and organize your thoughts for the presentation. 4. Peer-to-Peer Sharing (Not an interview) - Ask any burning questions you might have to someone else at your entry level 5. Final Interview - With the partner or might be partners - More questions about your motivation to join, cultural fit, how you handle certain situations. Who interviews you at each point might be dependent on who is available at any given point. I did not have questions that were too technical thrown at me but it might depend on who is interviewing you. I figure the biggest thing they want to see is if you fit into their mould. Finding someone who fits in the culture, with the right personality, is equally important to them as someone with the experience and skillset. The whole process was pretty long to me. Thankfully it paid off. So far, I can say its the best company i've been in, having worked in numerous companies across the media, banking and energy sectors. Ticks all the right boxes. The process was straightforward - 4 rounds including HR. The process took 2 months for me but at some stages required multiple follow-ups. The team was nice but I feel they did not share enough about the work and expectations which can often put candidates in difficult situation when they join.

Initial interview with a senior team member, followed by a relevant case study and finally a partner interview. Case study was shared an hour before the case study interview and then I had to walk through my approach.
