Steve D Ok version that keeps forgetting whose film it is, Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Elizabeth W My sister and I loved this movie when we were children. Now I've come back to it as an adult and we still love it. I love how it follows the original Grimm brothers story a lot more and the visuals are marvelous. It creates a much different story than the classic versions we are used to as well. (4/10) Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This has got to be one of my favorite adaptations of the fairy tail, Vera Farmiga does an excellent job here. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member It's so stupid and freaky!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Laura Fries Variety The movie is a technical marvel with skillful but gruesome makeup and costumes from Norma Hill Patton, Gitte Axen and Nancy Bryant, respectively. Mar 3, 2019 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Combustible Celluloid Thompson's directorial vision definitely takes a cue from Tim Burton, but with a more universal sweetness.
