We kickstart the list with the BBC drama, Clocking Off which was set in Manchester, England. Siobhan Finneran plays the role of Julie O'Neill throughout the show, which is one of the lead roles with this show being one that really helped establish her in the U.K.

Every episode of the show is different, as it focuses on a new character of someone from the textile factory each time, but many of them are interlinked. It was a gripping show that was heavily praised at the time.

The Stranger: 7.5 (2020)

Siobhan Finneran's latest role saw her join the cast of Netflix's The Stranger, taking on the part of DS Johanna Griffin. She worked in the police force of this show, which was an adaptation of a novel by the same name and has been incredibly popular since being released.

The Syndicate: 7.6 (2012-2015)

The Syndicate takes a look at the popular UK lottery, and how much of an impact winning the competition can have. Each of the three seasons is different as it focuses on a new group of people who have come together to buy a lottery ticket and ended up winning, showing what it does to their lives.

Siobhan Finneran is part of the second series of the show, which is focused on a group from Bradford, England, who work in a hospital and end up winning the lottery. Her character is named Mandy Atkinson who works at the hospital with her daughter. She also happens to be stealing drugs to try and combat her abusive husband, making her storyline very interesting.

Bob And Rose: 7.7 (2001)

This drama lasted for just one season back in 2011 after being met with some slight controversy from gay rights activists. However, IMDb has rated it highly, with the premise of the show following a homosexual teacher (Bob) who ends up in a relationship with a woman (Rose).

For this show, Siobhan Finneran takes on the role of, Marina Marquess, who appears in three out of the six episodes. The show itself really focused around the characters of Bob and Rose, however, as they come to terms with the fact Bob would rather actually date men.

Cold Feet: 8.2 (1997-)

Cold Feet is an incredibly popular British comedy-drama that originally ran from 1997-2003, and even though most people presumed it was over at that point, the show was revived in 2016. The Street was quite an interesting concept for a television show, with this being a set of one-off dramas with each episode being totally different, yet also similar. That's because every episode would focus on the exact same street, but specifically on one house per-episode.

Series of one-off dramas, set on the same street with each one focusing on a different house. Siobhan Finneran is involved in the episode, "Scar," which is a very emotional one. She plays the character of Kim, whose son returns having been seriously scarred from a suicide bomber attack while in the army as the family tries to bring him back to normality, as he battles his mental scars.

The Other One: 8.4 (2017-)

Throughout her career, Siobhan Finneran has been well-known for working in the comedic circles, and The Other One is another example of that. The BBC show is a dark comedy that focuses on two sisters who never even knew about each other until their father randomly dies.

Another incredible show that Siobhan Finneran is part of is Happy Valley, which is a crime drama that has been heavily praised by fans and critics. In 2015, the show won the BAFTA Award for 'Best Drama Series,' proving just how great it is, with the show being a real mix of drama, action, and emotion.

Finneran plays the character of Clare Cartwright, who is the sister of the main character, Catherine Cawood who is a police officer. She is involved in some tough cases throughout the show and often brings them home, creating a tough dynamic between the sisters, with Clare really being the sounding board, despite having her own issues.

Doctor Who: 8.6 (2018)

Doctor Who is a British institution at this point and is one of the most popular science fiction shows of all time, all around the world. Siobhan Finneran got her chance to be part of it in 2018 for the episode 'The Witchfinders,' which was set in the 1600s and, as the title would suggest, focused on witchcraft.

Downton Abbey: 8.7 (2010-2015)

Even though Siobhan Finneran wasn't part of the incredible Downton Abbey for the entire series, she certainly made an impact on the show. Finneran played the character of Sarah O'Brien, who was a lady's maid and, unlike the majority of her roles, she was actually a villain.

She spent her time on the show scheming her friends, colleagues, and her bosses, doing her best to get whatever she wanted regardless of who she hurt along the way.
