And on Thursday, Simon Baker enjoyed waves of a different kind as he spent the afternoon having a surf at Sydney's Bronte Beach.
The 51-year-old Mentalist star looked every inch the heartthrob, as he showed off his buff physique in a tight black wetsuit.

The Tasmanian-born hunk showcased a face of deep concentration as he maneuvered the choppy conditions.

While Simon and his wife of 20 years, Rebecca Rigg, normally reside in LA, they have been sheltering with their family at their second home in Bronte during the coronavirus pandemic.
The couple splashed out $6.5 million for the three-bedroom waterfront home in the seaside suburb in 2015, reported the Daily Telegraph at the time.
Simon and Rebecca share three children, daughter Stella Breeze, 26, and sons Claude Blue, 20, and Harry Friday, 18.

The former Home and Away actor scored his breakout role as attractive young writer Christian Thompson in the 2006 comedy-drama The Devil Wears Prada.
He then became the star of American drama TV series The Mentalist, playing former psychic Patrick Jane.
Simon branched out into directing with his first feature film Breath, premiering in Sydney in April 2018, where he also showed off his surfing skills.
The film is based off Tim Winton's bestselling novel Breath and follows a pair of thrill-seeking young surfers in Western Australia who meet ex-pro surfer Sando - played by Simon - who leads them to new levels of recklessness.
