They live together in a Bay Area startup incubator loosely run by self-satisfied dot-com millionaire Erlich, who lets them stay in his house rent-free in exchange for a stake in the projects they invent there. Sam Wollaston Guardian A beautifully observed, beautifully performed, beautifully written, extremely thorough lampooning of a world that was so ripe for it that a cloud of lampoon wasps was gathering over the entire Valley. And - crucially - it's very funny too. Jul 28, 2014 Full Review Gerard Gilbert Independent (UK) Silicon Valley is fresh and funny and if you don't know the meaning of terms like "multi-platform functionality" it really doesn't matter. Jul 15, 2014 Full Review Tim Molloy TheWrap HBO's Silicon Valley is the rare show that might make you say, "Wow. Wouldn't want to be a tech billionaire right now." Apr 8, 2014 Full Review Jared Canfield Screen Rant While the show occasionally descends into bland exposition, Silicon Valley succeeds because of its talented cast. Aug 14, 2018 Full Review Jessica Johnson Time Out Chicago Silicon Valley benefits from an extremely talented cast packed with comedic talent. Honest D If anything needed a complete roasting it's Silicon Valley and this show does it really well. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/11/23 Full Review He Q The best TV series I have seen about tech industries. I hope in China mainland, we can also produce TV series which have similar quality as this one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/23/23 Full Review christian h Honestly. One of the greatest shows ever made. A modern saga. Where people compete for control of the cyberspace not physical land. Like Vikings. But in the 21st Century. Wonderful characters. Non stop laughs. And at the end of the day a reinterpretation of a timeless tale of a person's quest for money, power and recognition. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/02/23 Full Review gerrixx o Just a perfect show, such a great cast of characters, I love you Zach Woods! Been watching it again with my friend, it does not disappoint. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review sonny s Masterpiece of a show. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Silicon Valley - S01 (TV 2014): Satire about computer nerds trying to strike it rich with a tech startup. 8 years old, but it still feels fresh. The nerds and the VC billionaires are equal targets. The characters are all ambitious and earnest, but each is unique in own way.
